Important Announcement for ESIM 2010 residents:
You will receive a free 1-year on-line subscription to the European Journal of Internal Medicine (EJIM). This will become effective from 01.08.2010. By the end of July, you will receive instructions from Elsevier (the publishers) for your personal on-line access.

This year the European School attracted 55 delegates from 24 countries, and was held at the Brighton and Sussex Medical School in Brighton. There was a full programme of clinical and scientific activities, but with a varied social programme which made the most of the hot July weather. The informal atmosphere allowed plenty of interaction between residents both inside and outside the lecture hall, and many new friendships were formed. Although the focus was on Internal medicine as a cornerstone of future healthcare systems, many other aspects of professional and personal life were discussed. We believe that the links formed this week among potential leaders of Internal medicine are vital for the future of the speciality. Indeed this is a key objective of the School and the Federation.
